Swede Sensation

When ABBA made a trip to Japan in 1978; they were not yet household names. But after this seminal TV special; they had made strong inroads into Asia & the world.

Packed full of their chart-topping hits such as Dancing Queen; The Name Of The Game & Knowing You, Knowing Me; this showcase brought about costume changes; Japanese pyrotechnics & unique stages on a glorious trip down yesteryear.

You couldn't help but feel nostalgic looking at this concert 43 years ago; and indeed looking at ABBA strut their stuff was almost like seeing gods & goddesses on the big screen itself. Whether it was the boyish looks of Bjorn; the charm of Agnetha; the maturity of Anni-Frid or the mischievousness of Benny; this showcase showed just why ABBA is one of the greatest bands in history.
