Kings Stay Golden

The Los Angeles Clippers should have been feeling high. In the midst of a topsy-turvy season; they brought out their best in a landmark 119-115 victory over their cross-town rivals the Los Angeles Lakers; and should have been primed to take revenge on the lowly Sacramento Kings; a team that had upset them on their own home-floor just days ago.

In fact; the Kings are basically the Clippers' favorite opponents; having established one of their most dominant records over them in the league in the past number of years. However; no one told the Kings; as they continued to be their feared opponents for this season; with another sensational victory.

And just like in the earlier game; it was unheralded Terence Davis II who came up big with 28 points; including some clutch long-range shooting near the end; to bury the Clippers. He got able help from two of their starlets; the athletic Tyrese Haliburton and the quick-silver De'Aaron Fox; who chipped in with 18 & 17 points respectively. And as this match etched towards its nervy finale; it was the young Kings and not the seasoned Clippers; who proved the masters.
