The latest Netflix documentary is Britney Spears against her father in that very strange conservatorship thing. The movie does well in reminding us how sweet Britney truly is; she is as friendly as she looks; which is not what you can say for all superstars.
The movie also does well in portraying the life and times of Britney's career: her strange & seemingly-random relationships with journalists (one who pumped petrol for her) and almost total strangers; signalling her confusion and desperation at times.
Though blatantly one-sided; the film does cover well the very strange circumstances surrounding the conservatorship; and how the government and family seems to have failed her in the most ridiculous of circumstances. It also details the start of her troubles; which seems to have been triggered by her wild and ultimately unsuccessful relationship with backup dancer Kevin Federline.
