The Los Angeles Clippers had just come off perhaps their biggest victory of the season; a classic come-from-behind win against their greatest rivals the Los Angeles Lakers; and now they had a chance for revenge against the lowly Sacramento Kings; who inexplicably upset them on their own home floor just a few nights ago.
Surely history couldn't be repeated? No one told the Kings; as they came up with yet another unbelievable display to upset the championship contender Clippers again; this time on their own home court of Golden One Center.
Terence Davis II; an unheralded guard averaging only 7 points a game; put up another game of his life with 28 points; mere nights after his 23-point display against the same team. He must love playing against the Clippers for some reason. It spearheaded a well-rounded team effort from Alvin Gentry's side; who combined their typical fast-paced game with some deadly long-range shooting.
