Boston Three Party

Brandon Boston Junior; the unheralded reserve guard of the Los Angeles Clippers; had the performance of a lifetime; as he hit shots from every conceivable angle to come up with career highs of 27 points & five three-pointers; as his Clippers put up a statement win over the Championship-chasing Boston Celtics in one of the best games of the season.

In a surreal second quarter; he made a steal in the back-court; then did a behind-the-back dribble and two-hand slam dunk over Josh Richardson; was typically everywhere on the floor; and hit an unbelievable long-range buzzer-beater to cap an outstanding 39-point quarter for the Clippers; as they took control of this contest.

Credit to the Celtics though; they never went away. And after an exhilarating fourth quarter that saw both sides put up incredulous after incredulous shot; the Clippers just about edged ahead thanks to some hot shooting from their in-form Marcus Morris Sr. Even more important; the Clippers proved they could win without their star man Paul George; thanks to some sterling work from the supporting cast of Luke Kennard; Morris Sr & Terance Mann.
