The much-awaited Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 adopts a useful formula for its plot. By focusing om the popular Rocket; it takes on a useful life-form and constructs a unique storyline to boot. In something different; it goes back in time to explore Rocket's childhood & upbringing; thus taking us to a new dimension we never knew existed.
In a symbolic shift away from the usual captain Chris Pratt; it reflects the actual shift of focus from the latter to the raccoon himself. Even though a little draggy & overstated at times; the usual jokes by Drax and the emotional scenes help restore this film to its proper mantle.
