Ederson - Still regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world (sans Manuel Neuer); he was replaced by Stefan Ortega in the latter stages; who fortunately proved to be a more than able deputy
Kyle Walker - I actually consider him the best right-back in the world; which is a frightening thought considering the previous best was Joao Cancelo; who of course happened to be at the same club. His frightening pace & recovery powers are second to none.
Josko Gvardiol - One of the revelations of the season; the Croatian international proved he is more then just a tough-tackling centre-back; showing nifty footwork skills and becoming a goal-machine at the latter end of the season; just when City needed him most
Ruben Dias - One of the best central defenders in the modern game; his composure and positional skills are a vital part of both City & Portugal
Manuel Akanji - A pretty under-rated player; Akanji is actually a consummate defender at his previous clubs; and his all-round stability and intelligence comes to the fore at City
Rodrigo - Without a shadow of a doubt the best defensive midfielder in the world; he is the beacon of truth at City; carrying on in the shadows of his boss; Josep Guardiola at Barcelona; and Xabi Alonso at Liverpool
Bernardo Silva - Perhaps the most hardworking player in the game today; the best move City made was not to sell this awesome Portuguese international
Kevin de Bruyne - Even without him for the starting part of the season; this City team was still good enough to excel in his absence. When he came back; it turbo-charged City's title push; leaving the other rivals rolling in the dirt
Erling Haaland - While this season may not have been as good as his last; his presence and goals were still a vital part of City's conquest. His overall play is definitely not a League Two standard *scoff scoff*
Phil Foden - The best player of the season and one of the best in the world; Foden is a shining light of everything good about City. Witness his maturity and guile in the two goals against West Ham on the final day; that set everything at ease
Jeremy Doku - Not much was known of this former Rennes product; but it looks like Guardiola has gotten it right again. With a directness and mobility that is difficult to guard; Doku has proven a real threat for City going at opposition defenders
