But I must say I saw it coming. Two season back; the seeds were planted with the likes of Jarret Allen & Evan Mobley; the likes of guard Darius Garland. They were just too inexperienced then & too unconfident to mount a sustained challenge. Things are different now; and the confident Cavs are playing to their potential.
Add the perfect player in the right place; 6'3" Donovan Mitchell to the mix and everything falls into place. Mitchell is the kind of selfless leader; that kind of unquestionable scorer that can lead a franchise to greater heights. With that long frame of theirs; and undoubted defensive skill-sets; they are blowing out all opposition.
Perhaps the best example has come in the past 2 games; when they torched the also high-flying Golden State Warriors (leading 41 at half-time) and then an unfathomable come-from-behind effort against the Brooklyn Nets just. The Boston Celtics had better beware.
