Back To Black

In 1989, Tom Chambers threw down a dunk on Mark Jackson that would change the world. It was the most electrifying dunk in history; with Chambers' knee almost at the top of Jackson's head in an extraordinary show of athleticism. Not surprisingly; that dunk became the calling card of the NBA; appearing on highlight reels and pre-game shows to no end.

Now; finally there could be a dunk to top that. Anthony Black; a 6'7" point guard from the Orlando Magic; took the ball on the fast break; slalomed his way to the hoop and threw down an emphatic dunk over 4 Memphis Grizzlies defenders. What's more; the game was held in Berlin; showcasing the feat to an international audience. Black; so far an unheralded name in the NBA; is having something of a breakout season; averaging 15.7 points while shooting 46.5% from the field. With this moment; his stock is set to soar even higher.
