It's A Kind Of Magic

The NBA Playoffs season is well & truly in the air; and there are exciting matches all round. None more so than in Orlando; as the surprising Magic have now taken a 2-1 lead over the much-fancied Detroit Pistons. This could be one of the greatest 8th seed v 1st seed upsets since the days of Baron Davis & the Golden State Warriors.

There's something about this Magic tram. They kind of underperformed in the Regular Season; falling to the dreaded Play-In Tournament where they just about made it out to secure the 8th seed. After stunning the Pistons in Game 1; they were beaten convincingly in Game 2. And in Game 3; they managed to build a substantial lead into the 4th quarter; only to see the Pistons come roaring back to take the lead themselves.

But this Magic team seems to perform best when the chips are down. With the multi-dimensional talents of Paolo Banchero; Franz Wagner, Desmond Bane and Jalen Suggs; they are a match for anybody; and they reeled off the final points with some tough shots to take this even contest. They thought they could prove a handful when they get the chance; and that's exactly how things are shaping up now.
