To Hull & Back

The most expensive match in football history ended in dramatic fashion as usual; as Oli McBurnie poked home a 95th minute winner to send Hull City back into the Premiership at the expense of lucky 'Spygate' losers Middlesbrough.

Hull had only finished 6th in the Championship and were arguably the worst team in the Playoffs; but after an exhausting 46-game season and the Spygate scandal; they have finally achieved the unlikely. They are a team that excels more out of possession than in; with Boro unable to muster up any clear-cut chances despite having the lion's share of possession.

Thoughts will now turn to the new season; and whether Hull can survive in the top flight and maybe become another Sunderland. At first glance; they do not have much Premier League quality nor experience; with only John Lundstram; now 32; a former standout at Sheffield United.
