Today was a very fun day of lessons - thanks in large part to an excellent, lively and vibrant lecturer - Ms Vivien Lim. She charmed the audience with her enthisiastic demeanour, and kept things upbeat by inserting a slew of activities and videos in the course of her lesson.
I particularly enjoyed the topic of body language and reading people you come into contact with through non-verbal cues. She showed a video of the popular American show 'Friend or Foe', where teams are supposed to guess if their partner is befriending or tricking them with a prize of thousands of dollars up for grabs or sharing. It was not easy, but certainly fun trying to decipher the contestants' 'sweet' words and tricky expressions.
