So yesterday, the group of My Paper Executive finalists got together at Lorong Chuan for the Lenovo, Windows 8 & Entrepreneurship Workshop. It was pretty informative and interesting, I must say, with Lenovo's Marketing Manager sharing on the key principles and products of the brand, followed by a pretty comprehensive Windows 8 brief (where I managed to win a mouse through a somewhat 'kelong' method) and an entrepreneurship brief by DJ-cum-copywriter Debbie.
After that, we headed over to the Happy Days pub at Sembawang Gardens where we had a great time drinking beer and laughing like nobody's business. I guess this group just has a natural sense of chemistry and we're all of the same wavelength, so we get along really great together. Fuelled by liquid courage, I managed to blurt out 'I Want It That Way' by Backstreet Boys with the help of my dear friend Alvin. Quite impressive coz even without any live band accompaniment, we managed to do it acapella. All in all, it was a great night with some great friends.
