This 2020 Margot Robbie-inspired movie 'Birds of Prey' was about average in my book. Focusing on Harley Quinn's life post-Joker and her wild adventures leading to the formation of the 'Birds of Prey'; it does focus rather spectacularly on the colorful (literally) and wild exploits of Robbie; however, it still feels rather superficial and orchestrated; without a deeper feel and understanding of the personalities and emotions of the characters involved. It does throw up a bunch of interesting characters around Robbie; such as nightclub singer Dinah Lance, youthful thief Cassandra Cain and the spellbinding 'Huntress'... but in the end; even this colourful motley crew of characters can't quite lift an otherwise average show.
Shy, Reserved, Demure.... I'm afraid I'm none of these things. This blog aims to share my personal philosophies, musings and principles of happenings, events & bizzarios around the world, as well as inculcating some of my personal, valued insights into the four passions of my life: reading, sports, music & movies. All in all, it aims to educate and showcase to everyone this beautiful thing called LIFE. Enjoy... and try not to get blown away...
