'Uncut Gems' is a rather 'unique' thriller starring Adam Sandler & former NBA star Kevin Garnett. It rides a lot on Sandler's fast-talking, unique-star charm; but I feel overall; it doesn't quite deliver. It is rather 'mysterious' and the simplicity of the plot doesn't delve from its ability to hold on to the viewer through the suspense and tautness of it all; as it rises to that crescendo of an ending. Garnett does decently in his big-screen debut; but overall, I would rate this film just about average.
