So should Manchester United sign Harry Kane? That's the latest rumour going around the transfer mill. If you ask me, I agree with Gary Neville that he would be perfect for Man Utd. They've always had that world-best centre-forward to take them to success.
Frank Stapleton & Peter Davenport were good strikers even though they couldn't get it going back in 1987. They had a thigh-bursting Mark Hughes of course; and Eric Cantona in his collar-flipping prime. Then they had Dwight Yorke & Andy Cole in that 1998-99 season; and frankly you don't get two strikers better than that. At that time; I even thought Yorke was the best striker in the world he was that good. And the connection between those two just made it all the more fearsome. And they had Ruud van Nistelrooy; the man worth waiting for; and I thot he too was the best in the business; and then Robin van Persie to fire things up.
So I feel Kane would give them that boost to take them to the 'next level': Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are good; but currently not 'world-class'... Kane is the England captain and certainly the best striker in England; he guarantees goals. I don't blame him for wanting to leave Tottenham Hotspur as frankly; he wants trophies and success and that doesn't look particularly promising at Spurs at this time.
