Berlin United

In the first Berlin derby ever played at the Olympiastadion, it was Hertha Berlin who marked their recent good form with a 4-0 hammering of newcomers Union Berlin; with all four goals coming in the second half.

And it was 35-year old veteran striker Vedad Ibisevic who was the star of the show; opening the scoring with a nice header from Marvin Plattenhardt's left-wing cross; before turning provider; setting up further goals from Dodi Lukebakio & new-father Matheus Cunha. Central defender Dedryck Boyata completed the scoring by heading in a corner to round things off.
