Since Keith Houchen's diving header for Coventry City against Tottenham Hotspur in the 1987 final; and Lawrie Sanchez's header against Liverpool in the 1988 edition; there is just something magical & romantic about the FA Cup; with the one-offness and searing tension making it such an unforgettable experience.
In the first semi-final; Manchester City; searching for a Cup quadruple of UEFA Champions League; FA Cup; Carabao Cup and Community Shield; take on their former assistant manager Mikel Arteta's Arsenal. Though they start as favourites; we should not count out the Gunners just yet; as they have looked pretty resurgent of late after the corona break.
The other semi-final is no less fulfilling; as giants Manchester United and Chelsea go head-to-head; two Champions League-chasing teams that are in-form and thus make it almost too tight to call.
