In a rather strange way; this Corona-enforced break has meant an even more exciting; 'World-Cup-style' tournament format for both the UEFA Champions League & Europa League. Instead of playing the usual home-and-away ties; the match is now converted to a one-off battle in a neutral 'bubble'-type situation; in Portugal for the Champions League and Germany for the Europa League. It is thus essentially a World Cup-style format where teams battle it out in a tournament-style setting to decide the victors. And it thus increases the excitement and drama up a notch or two; with tantalizing matches coming up thick and fast...
