In the greatest about-turn in world history; Lionel Messi has now stated that he will remain at Barcelona next season; stating he will not want to bring the 'club of his life' to court over a seeming contractual clause fiasco. It seems that the club and La Liga are right; in that his 700mil Euro release clause will come into play; now that the deadline for announcing his departure has passed. Or could it be a decision concerning President Josep Maria Bartomeu; whom all the problems at Barcelona seem to be coming from? Or is it he is afraid no club can afford that huge transfer fee? Or maybe his family simply wants to stay at Barcelona? Whatever it is; it is a shocking about-turn and it seems we will see Messi in a Barcelona jersey for the coming season...
