Shining Suns

The Phoenix Suns made the first move of the NBA off-season; sealing a blockbuster trade that brings Chris Paul from the Oklahoma City Thunder. This move pairs him in an exciting back-court with Devin Booker; one of the most exciting players in the league and who got his first All-Star nomination last season.

In return; the Thunder get the young & exciting Kelly Oubre Jr., talented Spaniard Ricky Rubio; reserves Ty Jerome & Jalen Lecque plus a 2022 first-round draft pick as well.

Overall; it looks like being a good move for both sides. For the Suns; they now have an electrifying back-court that could serve them well; not forgetting they were the hottest team after lock-down last season with a perfect 8-0 record; and we can see their undoubted potential.

For the Thunder; they are quite obviously in rebuilding mode; packing their team with young stars such as Oubre Jr. together with rising star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander; and a whole host of first round draft picks.
