When people talk about their favourite movie; one thinks of epic grandiose films such as maybe E.T; Star Wars; u know... the Lord Of The Rings or Back To The Future kinds...
Well; mine is a slightly more modest offering: Unstoppable; the less-heralded movie back in 2010 starring Chris Pine & Denzel Washington; about two decent men trying to save a runaway train from causing a cataclysmic disaster after a train operation gone wrong.
The fact that the movie can make such a simple procedure; of getting two good men on a train to save it from collapse; and stretch it over two hours of pure suspense & drama; is quite an intoxicating proposition indeed.
And I can still remember now the moment when Chris Pine got his hands on the pole to get on the train; relieving two hours of pent-up torture & excitement in your veins; as one of the most breathtaking moments in cinematic history...
