Naomi Osaka produced a comprehensive performance to beat Jennifer Brady in a battle of two of the up-and-coming stars of women's tennis. There wasn't a whole lot to choose between these 2 players; but Osaka had just enough of the experience on the key points and the composure that made the difference in the end. Brady; not short on talent & competitiveness; made some key errors in the crucial moments; notably at the end of each set. Osaka; meanwhile; continues her steady climb back to greatness after her own dodgy spell.
