The Bucks Starts Here

On the Opening Night of this historic 75th NBA season; the world couldn't have wished for a better match-up. The champions Milwaukee Bucks got a chance to collect their rings in front of a very jealous Brooklyn Nets; the team touted as favourites for this season's NBA championship by many pundits & experts.

But at the end of it; you could see that while the Nets have undoubted individual brilliance (with or without Kyrie Irving); their team Hakeem-istry still seems to be lacking. At times; they rely too much on desperate one-on-one basketball that fails to reap the ultimate rewards.

On the other hand; you have the ultimate in team chemistry: the Milwaukee Bucks; a team that takes pride in collective play; both on the offensive & defensive end. And it was this quality that ultimately saw them win this contest 127-104; even considering they were hobbled by an ever-increasing injury list that includes Jrue Holiday; Bobby Portis Jr. & Rodney Hood.

It was telling that towards the end of the fourth quarter; Nets coach Steve Nash decided to pull out all of his starters; basically signifying defeat; while Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer elected to return his starters into the game to make it safe.
