Bulls Run

The Los Angeles Clippers were one of the hottest teams in the NBA. Bolstered by a 7-game win streak; they looked almost unstoppable; coming back time & again from big deficits behind the out-of-of-this-world play of Paul George; aided & abetted by guards Reggie Jackson & Eric Bledsoe.

But although they had beaten good teams such as Minnesota Timberwolves (thrice); the Portland Trail Blazers & Oklahoma City Thunder; they were now facing a seriously strong one. The Chicago Bulls; themselves off to a surprisingly solid start to the season; were not about to back down to anyone. Aided by some shrewd off-season acquisitions; they now boasted a relatively young and hungry team; with the likes of trio Lonzo Ball; DeMar DeRozan & Zach Levine to call on.

And that was exactly how this game turned out. Even though they got off to a decent start; the home Clippers were unable to sustain the momentum and fell behind to a well-rounded Bulls team. With star men Lavine & DeRozan coming up with big shot after big shot down the stretch; they were unplayable at time and ended up winning this key contest 100-90. The Clippers might have come back many times in the past; but this time; it was just a bridge too far.
