Well they needn't have worried. Even though the T-Wolves were bolstered by the return of D'Angelo Russell; the Clips played the nearly-perfect game this time; leading wire-to-wire; en-route to a near 30-point lead; before ending up with a consummate 129-102 victory.
Not for the first time this season; they were led by the stellar play of Paul George & Reggie Jackson; as well as the inspired bench play of their L-I-T trio; with Luke Kennard; Isaiah Hartenstein & Terance Mann all coming up big; exemplified by Hartenstein's contender for block of the season when he denied Jaden McDaniels at the peak of his leap.
With this win; the Clippers improve to a resurgent 8-4 record; and it's a fitting lead-up to their next test: the young & hungry Chicago Bulls.
