The Los Angeles Clippers have been having a rather up-and-down season. Now coming into a much-needed 6-game home stretch; they wanted to take control and establish their season. Well they split their first 2 games against the deadly rivals Dallas Mavericks; and coming into this game against the 4-13 Detroit Pistons; they knew it was more or less a must-win situation.
Well must win they did; as they came out and dominated the contest from start to finish; never relinquishing the lead and leading in the high twenties for most parts. The Detroit Pistons are one of the youngest teams in the NBA; and their naviety showed at times with some forced shots and erroneous possessions. The Clippers also turned up their much-vaunted defense; thus making life for the Pistons even harder.
