A Jonjoe Kenny 'Cruyff turn' down the left-flank. An under-lapping wing-back run & Cafu-style diving header from Seamus Coleman. A brilliant Michael Keane header from Anthony Gordon's corner. It was there for all to see; as Everton put on their best peformance of the season to see off Leeds United 3-0.
Leeds are a team that prides itself on energy; but Everton played with so much power & panache that they made Leeds look err... tired. Frank Lampard's men played like they had everything to prove; encapsulated by their rambunctious captain Seamus Coleman; the fearless Richarlison; who ran around everywhere like a madman; and the fledgling Gordon; who is getting better with every game.
It certainly felt like 1985 all over again.
