Dido was not around; but Leeds United could well have thrown the White Flag in this latest capitulation against Tottenham Hotspur. Don't get me wrong; Tottenham played well; but once again Leeds were the masters of their own downfall; being carved apart time & time again due to their all-out attacking style.
Notably in the first two goals; they were pushed too far forward; leaving space for Ryan Sessegnon to cross for the other wing-back Matt Doherty for the first; and the second a disastrous defensive shambles that allowed Dejan Kulusevski the space to manoeuvre from the corner flag to a scoring position.
As we speak, Marcelo Bielsa has left the club "by mutual consent"; I guess it has been coming as he has been stubborn to change tactics and the club are heading for relegation in the current guise. It is all a bit sad as Bielsa is a living God over there; seeing how he has brought the club up to the Premier League after years in the wilderness; but in the current incarnation; things have just got to change.
