Halfway Ain't Bad

Halftime is the brand-new documentary on Netflix starring the life and times of superstar Jennifer Lopez. It tells a largely inspiring story of a young girl from the Bronx who started with nothing; but got her big break in In Living Colour; before hitting the big time with her starring performance in Selena; the show that I haven't watched yet but still wanting to watch :-)

The only problem with the show is it focuses too much on her SuperBowl half-time performance (co-starring with Shakira); and a little too much on her role in the recent movie Hustlers. By design; it thus removes a large part of her life & career such as how she made it big; some of her big musical success and her string of movie hits such as The Wedding Planner; when she was arguably at her peak.

Overall; it does display well the type of person she is and some intimate conversations; she is obviously someone who knows what she wants; and as befits her appearance; is quite steely in nature. But in terms of wingspan; you just have a feeling it could have been so much more.
