The final included one of the points of the year; when Carreno Busta inexplicably chased down a Hurkacz lob with a devil-may-do desperation fling before ending off the unlikely point with an athletic backhand volley that drew raptures from the crowd; and Hurkacz hurling his racket in disgust. In the end; the Spaniard prevailed for the biggest win of his career; in a tournament featuring other heavyweights such as Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios; Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz; and Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Shy, Reserved, Demure.... I'm afraid I'm none of these things. This blog aims to share my personal philosophies, musings and principles of happenings, events & bizzarios around the world, as well as inculcating some of my personal, valued insights into the four passions of my life: reading, sports, music & movies. All in all, it aims to educate and showcase to everyone this beautiful thing called LIFE. Enjoy... and try not to get blown away...

Busta Rhymes
Unseeded veteran Pablo Carreno Busta unbelievably won the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Canada; taking out World No. 10 Hubert Hurkacz in thr final. One of the most consistent & intelligent players of his era; Carreno Busta does not have the biggest serve; but uses it to unpredictable effect to unhinge the opposition. He is also very reliable from the baseline; with a unique but accurate two-handed backhand; as do what Spaniards do.
