If the Meaning of Happyness is best taught by Will Smith; surely the meaning of persistence is best espoused by Rafael Nadal.
Here he was in the Wimbledon quarter-final against young American hotshot Taylor Fritz. U see he was injured after the first set (which he lost); an abdominal problem that limited his serving & mobility.
Other players may have pulled the towel; even his own box was urging him to quit; but not Nadal. Against all odds he came back to win the second set; and even though he lost the third; a typically fiery Nadal comback was complete as he won in five.
As Fritz's face seemed to show he had lost the chance of a lifetime; Nadal's increasingly wore the look of some one re-writing history. Another epic comeback was complete.
