And never is the journey best encapsulated than in the NBA film 'Bad Boys'; that focuses on their creation right form the start till their dispersal years later. Oh the stories are all there: from the 1981 drafting of Isiah Thomas (who was the 2nd pick behind a certain Mark Aguirre); through to the acquisition of Bill Laimbeer (that would prove a major piece in the Pistons championship jigsaw); to the seismic trade that sent top scorer Adrian Dantley off for Aguirre (a rather strange move midway through a championship-winning season).
There is also epic capturing of the scenes: such as Isiah Thomas' legendary one-foot performance against the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1988 NBA Finals; the epic fight sequences (especially the Robert Parish smash on Laimbeer); and the poignant moment when Rick Mahorn had to be dealt away due to the league expansion criteria.
Overall; the magnificent cinematography; the attention to detail; and the glorious re-capturing of history make this one of the best movies you will ever see.
