Antony got his Manchester United career off to the best possible start; opening the scoring in their statement 3-1 win over league leaders Arsenal on a balmy night at Old Trafford. Showing intensity from the get-go; Antony was a lively presence on the right flank; and even showed intensity on the defensive end as well; to the delight of the Old Trafford faithful.
Arsenal actually got off to a decent start; and put the ball in the back of the net through Gabriel Martinelli; but their celebrations were short-lived after VAR pulled back for a foul by Martin Odegaard on Christian Eriksen in the build-up.
The Gunners got back into the game through Bukayo Saka; but two quick-fire goals from Marcus Rashford sealed the deal for the Red Devils. United have seen a drastic upturn in form recently; with Rashford & Bruno Fernandes among the most notable; and with four wins in a row; are right back among the chasing pack at the summit of the Premiership.
