From the opening 'Hero Takes A Fall' and the 'Going Down To Liverpool' (bizarrely featuring a young Leonard Nimoy); the sounds ooze pop and panache that best symbolizes the band.
They undoubtedly reached their Imperial Phase around 1986-88; when they released some of the most recognizable sounds of the generation such as 'Manic Monday' & 'Walk Like An Egyptian'.
But just like a Men At Work concert counting down to 'Down Under'; this DVD unerringly heads to its final conclusion of 'Eternal Flame'; surely their best-known song and one of THE songs in world history that everyone knows.
Another one I like though is 'If She Knew What She Wants'; a catchy number that perhaps does not get as much attention as it should. Perhaps the best known member is lead singer Susanna Hoffs; but my personal favorite is bass player Michael Steele.
