Wolves Lacking Bite

After a rather tepid start; the Wolverhampton Wanderers have gone three games unbeaten. Coupled with the rather astute purchase of formerly one of the best strikers in the world Diego Costa; and you would thought the Wolves are surging up the pack.

And against a Manchester City side who drew their last game against Aston Villa and just went through a punishing late win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions league; and you thought they might have a modicum of hope.

Unfortunately; they went about their business in the worst way possible; conceding a goal after 56 seconds when Goncalo Guedes failed to track Kevin de Bruyne on the right wing; leading to his pin-point cross finding the outstretched boot of Jack Grealish.

He was to repeat the misrake again; as de Bruyne this time found Phil Foden for another lovely flick. In between; Wolves completed the 'how not to play against City' handbook when Nathan Collins was sent off after a rather ridiculous challenge on Grealish.

Well at least they didn't go 2-0 up.
