Of course; the USA may have only themselves to blame; not bringing their very top stars and using good but not great players such as Anthony Edwards; Austin Reaves and Jalen Brunson; and in the end it was not enough. Germany boast top NBA players of their own in point guard Dennis Schroder; Franz Wagner and Daniel Theis; and in a hardworking performance packed with offensive rebounds; they just about managed to get over the hill.
Shy, Reserved, Demure.... I'm afraid I'm none of these things. This blog aims to share my personal philosophies, musings and principles of happenings, events & bizzarios around the world, as well as inculcating some of my personal, valued insights into the four passions of my life: reading, sports, music & movies. All in all, it aims to educate and showcase to everyone this beautiful thing called LIFE. Enjoy... and try not to get blown away...

The Global Game
USA suffered a shock upset by Germany in the FIBA World Cup semi-finals but truth be told; it has been sometime in the making. These days; USA is not the only dominant force in world basketball; with many countries boasting NBA stars of their own. It has led to a more level playing field; with the USA no longer guaranteed to steamroller opposition on their way to world tournaments. It's not 1992 anymore my friend...
