Slowly you will find the likes of Japan overtaking the likes of Germany in the world game... so who's the favorites now?

You can't say they haven't been warned... Germany suffered a humiliating 2-1 loss to Japan at the World Cup; so they should have known better; but apparently the lessons have not been learnt. Indecision and a lack of team cohesion is proving their downfall. On the other side; you have a Japan team brimming with confidence. their pace & technical level is so high that whoever gets into the first eleven for Japan is really something... as you can see with the likes of Kaoru Mitoma; Ritsu Doan and Takehiro Tomiyasu.

For Germany; they need to wake up their idea before hosting the European Championships next year; and this defeat was obviously so painful they had to sack highly-regarded coach Hansi Flick soon after. The waves of football are changing...
