Hungry Like The Wolves

Mario Lemina capped a sensational comeback; as Wolverhampton Wanderers surpassed the odds in gaining an upset victory over table-topping Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs were no doubt looking to come back from their ill-fated 1-4 reverse against bitter rivals Chelsea; and they started in the perfect way when Dejan Kulusevski and Pedro Porro combined to tee up Brennan Johnson for an early goal.

Far from giving up though. Wolves poured their heart & soul into it; and it produced a gritty, end-to-end contest that was a perfect advertisement for the Premiership. Eyebrows may have been raised when Gary O'Neil took of two of their best players off in Jean-Ricner Bellegarde & Rayan Ait-Nouri; but the one substitution he did do right was bringing on former Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) legend Pablo Sarabia into the mix.

Just when the match seemed destined for a Spurs victory. up popped Sarabia to control a ball from Matheus Cunha before volleying home at the near post; before his own ball was prodded home by Lemina right at the death to seal an unlikely Wolves victory.
