Ushering In A New Era

Sports has always been mixed with entertainment. And nowhere was this best found at the recent Super Bowl final; when Travis Kelce went from being a nobody to someone everyone knows by being Mr Taylor Swift. Such was the fanfare when sports & music collide that the cameras don't know where to turn anymore; the game or Swift's entourage.

But the star of the show could well have been the half-time show; long billed as an equal or even greater attraction than the game itself. This time it was superstar Usher who took the stage; and it was a nostalgic-filled turn as he brought on his greatest hits; notably the ubiquitous 2004 hit 'Yeah!' as well as 2008 classic 'Love In This Club'. What's better: he even brought his pals Lil' Jon and Ludacris for 'Yeah!'; making it a true sight for sore eyes. In 2011 Usher was supporting Black Eyed Peas; but this year it was notable that the roles were reversed; with Will.I.Am now supporting the R&B star instead.

So what's next: the Undertaker appearing at a Saudi Pro League match?
